The Penguin “Chill” exhibit at the ABQ BioPark is the home to King, Macaroni, and Gentoo penguins. Featuring a 75,000 gallon water tank, multiple viewing areas, and interactive educational areas, the facility is the first of its kind in the Southwest.

HB coordinated with the BioPark, design team, and consultants to pack unique MEP and life support systems into a compact, 14,000 sq ft building. Building Information Model (BIM) coordination between HB and system installers was instrumental in this effort.
