HB is proud to support the development of a new K–12 campus for Albuquerque School of Excellence on the city’s Westside. In partnership with Building Hope, our team provided Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services to help bring the vision for this site to life.
HB’s early involvement included budgeting, scheduling, phasing, and value analysis. We worked closely with project partners to present multiple interior framing scenarios that balanced long-term performance with cost-efficiency—ensuring the project is set up for success from day one.
The 8.5-acre property, vacant since 2019, will be redeveloped in phases to accommodate 1,240 students at full build-out. Phase one will include a K–8 school serving 440 students.
We’re excited to help turn this underutilized site into a place of learning, growth, and opportunity for Westside families.
