At the Casa de Peregrinos Food Rescue Warehouse, HB transformed an abandoned former retail building into a modern food pantry. CDP is the largest food pantry in Southern New Mexico, distributing over 4.2 million meals annually. HB worked with City of Las Cruces to deliver the project.

As part of the structural rebuild and renovation, the HB team delivered a new warehouse area with storage racks, walk-in refrigerator and freezers, a food packaging area, a clean room for food prep, a demonstration kitchen, and a public lobby. Designed by Huitt Zollars, the facility offers both functionality and warm details, including a Francisco Romero mural.
