This project includes the new construction of a three-story, 43,000 sq ft facility, as well as the simultaneous renovation of the adjacent 8 story high-rise in downtown El Paso. The resulting facilities serve as the operational headquarters for El Paso Independent School District. HB performed Construction Manager at Risk services for the project by supporting design and procurement.

For the new administrative building located at 1014 Stanton Street, HB performed significant demolition of existing underground structures on site, which were the remnants of a former hospital. The new facility houses office space, conferencing, open workspace, board room, and a health clinic.

The adjacent 8-story renovation at 110 Stanton added additional complexity to the project. HB led this high-rise renovation and retrofit, which included renovation to an underground precast parking garage. The facility houses a secure police substation on the first floor and administrative support space throughout. The building exterior was also upgraded to match the new building, resulting in a cohesive campus feel.
