Work on the  Nob Hill Early Childhood Center replacement project is officially underway. HB Construction broke ground Tuesday alongside Ruidoso Municipal Schools teachers, students, and administrators.

The three-phase project will take place on the combined Sierra Vista Primary School / White Mountain Middle School campus. Over 53,000 sq ft of new construction will include the Early Childhood Center classroom wing as well as a new gymnasium.

The Nob Hill Early Childhood Center houses programs for three and four-year-old children with developmental delays, Region IX Head Start, Region IX Community Play Group, and RMS’s full-day Kindergarten.

The campus will also receive a new bus parking zone, 2 new playground areas, and other site improvements. Work is expected to be completed in Summer 2018.
