Bernalillo County’s first new fire station in over 25 years is official. Our project team broke ground this week on Fire Station 37, located on the SW corner of Central and Atrisco Vista. We were honored to share the moment with firefighters, paramedics, staff, and county leaders. A long-awaited project in an underserved area of Albuquerque’s far west side, Station 37 will provide a high-functioning, comfortable environment for county first responders. The Vigil & Associates design includes a four-door apparatus bay, bunk rooms, day room, exercise area, kitchen/pantry, and a screened patio with BBQ. HB is thrilled to contribute to another Bernalillo County project that gives civil servants the best environment to do their jobs.
Local news outlet KRQE covered the event.
