HB is set to break ground later this month on New Mexico State University’s new art building. The facility will double as a new home for the NMSU Art Department and public gallery for original works owned by the University.
Designed by RMKM Architecture, the new building will occupy the site adjacent to the existing Williams Hall on University Avenue. With multiple stories and over 65,000 sq ft of space, the highly anticipated facility will offer specialized studios, an outdoor work area, classrooms, shared work spaces, and advanced labs. The dedicated gallery wing will include viewing, storage, and artwork restoration spaces.
A groundbreaking ceremony at the site, 1308 University Ave, will take place at on March 27 at 4 PM.
