Earlier this week, HB Construction swapped ribbon and scissors for cleats and soccer balls to mark the completion of Mesa Del Sol Sports Complex Phase II. HB Construction was thrilled to celebrate our team’s hard work and successful partnerships with Dekker Perich Sabatini and Smith Engineering alongside Bernalillo County officials and the Rush 07G soccer team. Attendees lined up and performed a simultaneous “first kick” to commemorate this step towards significant economic development for Bernalillo County District 2.

HB delivered four of the 31 total artificial turf and grass fields the county has planned through multiple construction phases. Contractors removed around 66,000 cubic yards of dirt and transformed over 19 acres to achieve sheet flow grading, which will combat drainage issues. Our HB Construction project team worked closely with subcontractors CSTI, Rocky Mountain Turf Solutions, and Guzman Construction Services to obtain this precision and score a goal for Bernalillo County.
