HB staff stepped into schools this week to support early childhood learning and share industry education with children in our communities. Partnering with AGC NM, Kids Under Construction Preschool, and Rio Rancho Elementary School, HB had the opportunity to help combat access to literacy by donating books and presenting construction-themed read-alouds, activities, and industry Q&As for classrooms.

Read Across America Week is part of a larger initiative created by the National Education Association. Beginning each year on Dr. Suess’s birthday, events are organized across the nation to encourage reading, especially for children and young adults.
