The Las Cruces Public Schools (LCPS) Tashiro Food Service Warehouse is the first completed phase of the district’s plan for a large operational center. This facility enhances the district’s ability to efficiently procure, store, and deliver food to school kitchens across Las Cruces and includes crucial infrastructure for future development.

This building houses a compartmentalized freezer and a refrigerator, both large enough to accommodate pallets and forklifts. It also includes a large dry storage area, equipment storage and repair, an office space, loading docks, and a parking lot with charging stations for electric school buses.
