Roswell’s Main Street is getting a much-deserved upgrade. HB Construction recently broke ground alongside the City of Roswell and Dekker/Perich/Sabatini Architects on the Convention, Civic, and Visitor Center Expansion. Residents mingled with City of Roswell officials, Convention Center employees, and the project team for an “all hands-on deck” groundbreaking ceremony.

Valued at $7.4 million, the 15,000 sq ft expansion will include state-of-the-art meeting and conference rooms, infrastructure upgrades, and a new, modern entry vestibule facing Main Street. The project will also include renovations to the existing Convention Center.

The expansion will allow the City of Roswell to host larger and more varied events. New space will be outfitted with operable partitions, which create more options for dividing or expanding rooms. Work also includes the installation of a high-tech Audio / Visual system.
