In our industry, every project teaches something new. The challenge is making sure those lessons don’t stay with one team or walk out the door. As experienced builders retire and the skilled workforce tightens, passing on knowledge is essential to the future of our industry.
As we developed a more intentional way to share what we learn, we created the Process Manager role.
Aspen Sivage joined HB in 2023 as a Project Engineer and quickly proved herself in the field. Her curiosity and collaborative mindset made her a natural fit for Process Manager.
“I love details and enjoy understanding the cause‑and‑effect relationships behind how even small decisions influence the way work gets done. This role is fun because if presents ample opportunity to dig into the nitty gritty of that concept every day.”
As Process Manager, Aspen works with project teams and HB leaders to capture insights that might otherwise be missed. She turns those lessons into SOPs and best practices that help our teams plan smarter and build better. This work pulls from contributors across HB and focuses on key outcomes:
-
Employees are empowered with a stronger foundation for success and career growth
-
Improvements are quickly implemented across all projects
-
Training and mentoring are more accessible
-
Data capture and insights are more reliable and actionable
-
Knowledge is passed on to the next generation of builders
