HB Warranty Manager John Farley brings accountability and personal service to every customer he interacts with. We sat down with him to hear more about what shaped his career and how his moral compass guides him.
When you ask John when he started in construction, he will tell you he really hasn’t been in construction, and still isn’t. John’s in customer service. His background as a facilities maintenance director for large-scale projects gives him owner-side perspective and an appreciation of dependability.
“I’m always trying to find common sense solutions for uncommon problems,” said John. “Their problem is my problem and I’m going to solve it no matter what.”
Today, John Farley takes a personalized approach to each client. He believes in being a man of his word and building trust by answering the call.
“I develop relationships with owners and get to be the good guy. I’m able to work in the interests of our subcontractors, owners, and HB all at the same time,” said John.
John’s values and moral standards serve as a guide, while his motivation is for finding solutions to new challenges.
“In warranty, no matter what happens you have to just own it and take care of it,” said John. “As the referee and judge, I’m always trying to make the right decision and do what’s fair.”
