After recently being awarded the YWCA of El Paso Del Norte Administration Building TI, HB and its subcontractor partners are making significant progress on the project. The renovation will help YWCA staff support the nonprofit’s initiatives, including early childhood and after-school programs, women’s leadership, and community support.
Recent milestones include demolition of the structure, upgrades to the existing concrete foundation, plumbing rough-in, and installation of wood framing. Once completed, the 17,000 sq ft facility will feature new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems along with modern office and meeting space for YWCA employees.
The next critical task for the project team will be the erection of new steel structural reinforcement performed by Empire Contractors. The proactive early procurement of steel has been critical to advancing the project schedule.
HB Construction joins Alvidrez Architecture on the project.
