HB Construction celebrated alongside hundreds of attendees, including HB team members, elected officials, and community members, at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new UNM Hospital and Bernalillo County Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC). The BHCC is the culmination of 10 years of planning, funding, and community-driven fulfillment of a need for specialized mental health facilities in the state of New Mexico. The 48,699 sq ft medical facility features an extensive Crisis Triage Center, a secure drop-off area for emergency first-responders, 16 single patient rooms, 11 exam rooms including dedicated tele-med, a separate main entrance for outpatient check-in and treatment, large group and peer therapy rooms, observation spaces, day room, an outdoor courtyard, and modern staff spaces.
