Of all the holiday traditions, sharing is surely the most underrated. For the eighth straight year, HB Construction opened up its annual holiday party to the wider community, collecting clothing donations for CYFD, New Mexico Kids Matter, and Parkway Sommerville Center.

Friends of HB—including architects, contractors, and community members—pitched in to help make the event successful. In all, over 900 items of warm winter clothing ended up under our Christmas tree.

With each year, the event takes on more meaning for HB CEO Jason Harrington. “It’s a special event for our company. We come together around family and giving, two things that are central to who we are as a company.”

The New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department serves New Mexico children and their families by providing prevention, intervention, and rehabilitative services.

New Mexico Kids Matter is an organization that advocates for abused or neglected children in court, at school, and in the community.

The Parkway Sommerville Center provides educational resources, literacy training, and family support services to thousands of children and their families in Lubbock, Texas.
