This week HB Construction earned recognition for family-friendly culture and work policies. The distinction, given by Family Friendly New Mexico, recognizes companies that implement family and employee-friendly policies relating to benefits, economic support, and community investment. After receiving Gold status since 2017, HB was awarded Platinum status for 2020. 

“Our people have been able to unite around a core purpose of creating new opportunities for families, and that absolutely includes our own families. We’ve all recognized that being family-friendly is good business,” said CEO Jason Harrington. 

HB’s family-friendly policies include generous paid leave for all employees, health and wellness programs, and competitive benefits. Programs include the HB Scholarship Fund, which awards two scholarships to members of HB families.  

HB employees and families also share in company culture through events and shared opportunities to donate their time to worthy causes. As part of our Thriving People program, each HB employee can allocate company funds to the nonprofit or cause of their choice.
